Saige has been announced as this year girl of the year a horse lover with a film that seem's a little off. From the news and information we have we can suggest that Saige is Italian. She is American Girl's first real Art's girl she sings and loves horses! Her home like Josefina is New Mexico and here are the plot line's from the Library of Congress:
Book 1- Saige " Upset that her New Mexico school can only afford music and art teachers in alternate years, fourth-grader Saige works with her grandmother, Mimi, to plan a fundraiser but when Mimi has an accident, Saige relies on new friend Gabi to help. "
Book 2- Saige Paint's the Sky " Painting in her grandmother's studio and riding her favorite horse, Georgia, helps fourth-grader Saige cope with missing Mimi and sparks an idea for funding the school art program, but more creativity will be needed to keep Georgia from being sold. "
The plot line sounds interesting and I applaud American Girl for mixong these themes to create a truly amazing character. I also want to clear some things up, I never knew her real name only code one's and I was waiting for a confirmation I just knew she had a movie and horses were involved along with singing and the arts. The main focus of the fim seemed to be music rather than horses. I hope I helped and thanks to everyone that has helped and is still helping us uncover Saige Girl of the Year 2013!

| I really want her, but if she's a blonde, I don't think I'll buy her because I'm sort of sick of the blondes (no offense to people who like blonde hair or has blonde hair). But I don't think she'll have blonde hair. I really like her story so far though. |

| I do not think she will be one, American Girl does not really copy hair colors with GOTY's. I am hoping for brown hair. |

| Well I would really like a red head but sadly a brunette or Black as Night. i really hope that AG comes out with a red head soon. We might have to wait till 2014 or until the target market fully forget's Felicity. |

| I think she mostly likey has brown or black hair. McKenna is too close to blonde, and I doubt if AG will have another redhead GOTY soon. I think it will be close to Chrissa's hair color, as the target age has forgotten about her. |
